UPDATE

so sadly ... i dont have any exciting news... i thought my sister in law was prego but it was just a false alarm... BOOO :(

HEY HEY HEY

So I feel like its been a while since I have posted so im gonna give a quick up date for yalls.
SO...
-I am going home to Vegas for the next two weekends to see my friends, family and .. .RICKY! :D
-I got an AWESOME job I was trying for, for this summer. I get paid at least 15.00 an hour (but im pretty sure its more). I get to supervise over like 400 lifeguards and pool managers. I get to have a cool yellow work phone (YES ITS YELLOW!!). And its gonna rock rock rock!
- I am excited for the semester to be over so I can finally start my papers. I am waiting till I go home cuz my dad is my bishop there and it will be much easier that way. I will be turning them in in September. (thats not new news but whatever I like to say it)
- Today is Ricky's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
- I may be getting some exciting news tonight ... so there might be an update tomorrow :D

So good news little buddy friends! I am finally going back to work on Monday!!! After long months of waiting it is finally time to get to do what I have gone to school and wanted to do for years! And finally time to get a real paycheck!!! Thanks for all your support!

Patience leads to good things....I've been told!

So, a little update on the post-college life and the internship deal. So, ever since Christmas I've applied to about 11 different jobs. Nothing really was working out and let's be honest, I wasn't ok with that. I wasn't really looking around here in Boise, but...once I started looking things starting falling into place. I've been working at the Boys and Girls Club (I've worked there in the past), and I just started playing on the city's ultimate frisbee league. My old boss at the YMCA had a meeting with a lady with ultimate frisbee and he invited me. From this good times meeting, I found out 2 vital things: 1. ultimate frisbee was just started at 5 high schools, and my high school was one of them AND they didn't have a coach yet....2. my old boss was going to be putting his 2 weeks notice in soon!! So, long story short...I'm coaching my high school's team and I was working on getting the job at the YMCA to be the Youth Sports Director. So then the other day, I was just going through life like normal, and I get a little phone call from Dixie State College. They were one of the ones I applied to around Christmas-ish. That position is for Youth Sports Camp/Conference Coordinator. So I set up an interview for this coming monday at 2:30!! I wanted to know how seriously they were considering me because they aren't paying for the transportation...I am!! I found out that I was ranked in the top 3 and they only interview the top 3. So, thanks to my dad, I'm flying there on Sunday!! I'll let you know how it goes. Pray for me!! I'll be interviewing with a committee of 6 people!! A little scary! I really like you all!

Re-roommates!

So, I just wanted to make a little annoucement in case anyone hasn't heard yet (which is probably no one, but that's fine!). Kaitlyn and I are going to be roommates again in the fall, this time down in that wonderful place I like to call Provo. I paid my deposit and signed the contract and everything! Suz is going to be there too, so we're basically going to party constantly. You all need to come visit!!!

So here I am, to finally contribute to this blog! I apologize for my absence. I am excited for school to start in about a week. But I am also nervous. But kaitlyn as soon as I get up there we need to do something before you leave!!! As for cool events in my life... well I work and then I sleep... oh and I certainly allot some time for playing. Life is exciting!!!

Excitement Excitment! Updates From Mel

So I saw my first dry ice bomb on friday! It wasn't really that exciting but I was happy anyway. It was me, Sara, Kassie, Jack(Jake) and Logan (plus have the guys in the cabin). We had to put the bottle in hot water for it to even work cause it was so cold. Good old Rexburg. Anywho excitment there was for if but a minute.

In other news I am 20 now which according to my sister is perfect marrying age. loverly.

My lung is slowly coming back to health since it was lost for a 3 days. Rachel found it under a box, but no worries we bleached it and it is slowly regaining health.

I love you all very muchly and we need to tell Dona to get on this thing cause of all people i'm sure of all people she has updates.

PINS ARE OUT!!!

Today the pins came out finally. I measured them. One was 3 inches the other was 2 1/2 inches long. CRAZY! I get to go back to work next week, but with limited lifting AKA hardly anything. hehe I am going to physical therapy for about a month and then hopefully I will be just as good as new! Thanks for everything! prayers, tying my shoes or shirts, ponytails, etc you are all wonderful and I just like you all so much!
